Decision Briefs

AVAILABLE BY REQUEST

Focused, evidence-backed briefs that organize facts, assumptions, alternatives, risks, contradictions, uncertainty, missing information, and the questions that could change the answer around a specific decision or research need.

How a request works

  1. Tell PAII the decision you’re facing. What you are deciding, by when, and what matters most.
  2. A person reviews every request. Scope and depth are agreed before research begins.
  3. You receive the brief. A 60-second answer first, then the evidence, with sources and what is still unknown.

PAII Briefs

Spend your time deciding, not researching.

Turn a messy question into a clear brief. Decision Briefs for choices. Research Briefs when you need the facts first.

You can absolutely research it yourself. The question is whether you want to. PAII does the searching, checking and comparing. You do the thinking and deciding.

  • See the answer fast. A 60-second read first. Go deeper only if you want to.
  • See what the evidence actually says. Costs, tradeoffs, risks, sources and unknowns in one place.
  • See the problem more clearly. Hidden assumptions, missed options, better questions. Sometimes the research changes the answer. Sometimes it changes the question.
  • Know what could change the answer. Each recommendation names the assumptions it rests on.
  • Keep the decision yours. PAII does the research. You make the call.
